Craigslist - how to post more pictures & make it more effective!!

I could not figure out how to do this to save my life!!!  I tried & tried but couldn't get a real flyer up on craigslist or more than just one image so here it is:

1. Open up a free account with http://www.photobucket.com/
2. Upload pictures to your account
3. Copy the HTML code
4. Go to craiglist & paste the HTML code

Click on this link for craigslist that will show you what I mean: http://cnj.craigslist.org/fns/612353754.html

Now the key is to also have a direct link to your website for people to click on & go to your site.  This is key.  You have to use HTML code again. I'll discuss this in another post.

Good posting.  Craig's List is a good place to put listings.  It get a lot of exposure and it's FREE

It does take extra time, but the response from Craigslist is awesome!  Thanks for these tips as I still don't know how to do something in HTML.

Have a Fabulous Real Estate Day!

Thanks for the tip. I've heard Craig's List does get a lot of exposure.

Thanks for the tip and advice. I had not so much luck with Craig's list. It seems that a lot of times the audience there are not real serious. Anybody has success with CL?
Posted by ella tiu (The Machree Group) over 11 years ago

Ella,

We have excellent success with CL but only on certain property types (mostly lower end - under $250K).  And, yes, there are hundreds of 'tire kickers' on CL but our ads there are good for about one transaction per month... not bad for FREE advertising!

Hi everyone:

I have been using a great tool to automate my postings on Craigslit. All I have to do is create a dozen ads with several different headers and tell rainmaker how often I want those ads posted. It does the rest. Whether you are at your computer or not your ads get posted.

Here is a link:Rainmaker

PS: you can download a free trial!

Joe

I have had great success with Craigslist I use to use Postlets (to create the ad) but finally realized I was missing out on So much! Lack Of Branding (ads look like Postlets NOT me) Too time consuming Waste of prime space on ads (top of ad) waste valuable space for year built, HOA, parking ect Headlines dont stand out, etc etc I tried this software WebAds For Real Estate that is Faster and way better and got MORE responces from my ads! If you want better response from Craigslist you need better ads! * Ads should incorporate your BRANDING by using the look and feel of your website * Photos with Captions * Consistent layout and look * Enough detail (not too much!) to get the phone to ring. I found this great software that does all that and more, check it out they have a free trial download here http://droz-consulting.com/software/purchase.html
